About Mike

 

A developer who has come over to the security side of computers, Mike is excellently placed to talk code to coders and security risks to managers.  Mike has been working as the Lead Penetration tester at Logically Secure, having demonstrated a clear understanding of how to break and secure web applications.

 

With such a strong programming background, Mike frequently develops tools for each application he is charged with testing.  This not only demonstrates his knowledge of the application’s weaknesses, but also an ability to code in many languages quickly.

 

Mike is a confident developer in: PHP/MySQL, Ruby, VB.net, C#.net ASP.net, Java, Python and can review code in many other structured languages.

 

He has developed websites incorporating real-time camera and audio conferencing facilities and he is strong with most script based languages including:  HTML, HTMLv5, JavaScript and NODEJS.

 

Mike is also a proficient and skilled Penetration Tester, focusing on Networks and Servers, however, Web Applications and Mobile Apps are a personal and professional love of his.

 

A jovial chap, Mike enjoys helping others and he supports several online developer forums assisting students when they get stuck.
